Caroling for Children
Since 1911
St. Stephen Protomartyr Children's Choir, led by director Anne
Borgmeyer,  perform at "Holiday on the Plaza"  in Maryland Plaza.

We receive many requests for carolers to perform at
malls, tree lighting ceremonies, and holiday events.
Smaller groups are often needed, making this program
perfect for madrigal groups, show or jazz choirs and
smaller church choirs.
It's a wonderful way to gain recognition for your church
or school's music program while giving your members
additional performance opportunities.
The StLCCA is provided with a donation in exchange
for arranging the performance.
If you are interested in these opportunities, please call
Carol at 314.863.1890.  She will coordinate events
needing carolers with your availability.

Hazelwood West High School Concert Choir,
led by director Kevin Koontz, carols at Macy's at West County Center.

Caroling is great for community outreach
- what a fun way for high school students
or confirmation candidates to satisfy
community service requirements!
If you are unable to go out
caroling with your students,
consider simply collecting
for our organization at your
December concerts!

We can provide you
with the canisters and
information on
the agencies we help.
We hope you will consider
caroling with your students,
to experience the joy and satisfaction
"Caroling for a Cause" can provide.

Here's a great idea for
"In-School Caroling" f rom
Rose Nester, a SLPS music teacher
at Washington Montessori School:

She sends home a note a week or so
before her planned in-school caroling,
asking that all students bring in
"pennies for the carolers".
Then, with a small group of singers, she
moves through the school, singing in
several locations, while students drop
their coins in the collection cans.
What a wonderful way to model what
caroling looks like for her students, while
involving every student in the 'giving'!!
Last year, her efforts collected over $70!
